Biography
Abhijith P. S. Nair was born in Vaikom, Kerala, and became active as a performer from his teenage years. His work draws on classical, Indian, and world music idioms, with the violin at the centre of a contemporary concert identity.
His performances are known for folk and classical influences, improvisation, and fusion presentation. He has collaborated with artists across Indian classical, popular, percussion, jazz, and independent music contexts.
Albums and projects such as Saraswati At Montreux, Behind You, and Ekalavya helped place him among a younger generation of Indian violinists bringing Carnatic-rooted technique into global and studio-driven formats.
