Biography
Vid.B.Raghuram belongs to the lineage of Mysore Aasthaana Vidwan Bidaram Krishnappa, with his father Harmonium Bheema Rao being a direct disciple of Shri. Bidaram Krishnappa. With over 5 decades of illustrious performing experience, Vid. B. Raghuram has accompanied stalwarts of the likes of Vid. M. Balamuralikrishna, Vid. T.N.Seshagopalan, Vid.T.V.Sankaranarayanan, Vid.Bombay Jayashree, Vid.Aruna Sairam, Vid.Rajkumar Bharathi, Vid.Chertala Ranganatha Sharma, Vid. Bangalore S. Shankar, Vid.R.K.Padmanabha, Vid.M.S.Sheela, Vid.T.S.Sathyavathi, Vid.R.A.Ramamani, Vid.M.K.Pranesh, Vid.V.K.Raman, Vid.Pushpa Kashinath, Vid.Suma Sudheendra, Vid. Abhishek Raghuram and many more. A Harmonium artist as well par excellence, he has performed Karnatik music Jugalbandi music concerts over Harmonium with Veena Vid.D.Balakrishna, etc and Hindustani Jugalbandi concerts with Pt.Ravindra Katoti, etc. Vid.B.Raghuram has toured many countries like Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, Morocco, etc for dance arrangetrams as well as Violin Solo performances and as an accompanying Violin artist for Karnatik vocal concerts.

- Winner of first prize in 1983 for All India Radio audition competitions in Violin category.
- Winner of "Best Accompaniment on Violin" award in Bangalore Gayana Samaja concert competitions.
- Awarded first prize several times in various inter bank competitions for a span of 28 years while in employment with Canara Bank.
- As a teacher has students who all are performing Violinists and Harmonium artists in Karnatik music field.
