B. U. Ganesh Prasad

B. U. Ganesh Prasad hails from a family of classical music connoisseurs and had early violin training under Basavanagudi Nataraj.

He also received vocal guidance from Bangalore S. Shankar, trained under violin maestro V. V. Subramaniam, and continued under P. S. Narayanaswamy of the Semmangudi school.

An A-grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, he has accompanied senior and contemporary Carnatic musicians, toured internationally, and received awards from institutions including the Music Academy of Madras.
