Dr. C A Nataraj

Dr. C A Nataraj born into a traditional family of musicians, received training from his mother vidushi C S Sathyalakshmi Anantharamaiah, a versatile artist, from the tender age of four. His talent was further nurtured by his Guru, saint composer vedabrahma shri Venkatanarayana Udupa Shastri. And also received guidance from Vidwan Sri Anoor S Ramakrishna. His father was a flutist. He gave his first stage performance at the age of twelve and there after performed at various prestigious Sangeetha sabhas, temples and other organisations all over the country. He has to his crown, Vidwat Proficiency both in Vocal and Violin with distinction, M A music from Bengaluru university with rank and Doctorate degree in music from University of Mysuru. His music enchants the whole country through the All India Radio, Doordarshan and other TV channels. He has accompanied on the Violin eminent artists of India. He has been teaching music since forty years, member of board of examiners to conduct music examinations of M A Music and Vidwat Proficiency. Composed so many national integration songs and trained many students to perform at the national level and won prizes.
