Biography

L. Athira Krishna, also known as Aathira Krishna, comes from a musical family in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She moved from vocal music to violin at the age of eight and began appearing as a Carnatic violin soloist at a young age.

Her public identity includes classical concerts, fusion, and international presentations. She represented Indian classical music in several cultural contexts and performed at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

In 2003, Athira Krishna entered the Guinness Book of World Records for a 32-hour non-stop South Indian classical violin concert titled Nadhabrahma, also recorded by Limca Book of Records.
