L. Ramakrishnan

L. Ramakrishnan hails from a musical family and began vocal training with his mother before taking up violin.

He studied under Visalam Vageeswar and later came under the guidance of A. Kanyakumari, with additional training from T. K. Govinda Rao, T. R. Balamani, and B. Balasubrahmaniyan.

He is known as one of the regular violin accompanists for many leading Carnatic musicians and has received honours including the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar.
