N N Ganesh Kumar

N. N. Ganesh Kumar started learning music at the age of 10 under the guidance of Vidwan Shri H. K. Narasimha Murthy, who was a Staff Artist with All India Radio (AIR), Mysore. After completing his formal training, he began performing and accompanying many musicians. Over the years, he has had the honour of accompanying many renowned artists from India and around the world. He has also performed for several dance Arangetrams. He served for two tenures with the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS), where he trained and guided many students. Several of his students have won National Arts Council (NAC) competitions and many other prizes, including the Vadya Visharad from SIFAS. He is graded as a B-High Artist with All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan. Through his music, N. N. Ganesh Kumar continues to contribute to the growth of young musicians and the rich tradition of Indian classical music.
