Lalgudi Rajalakshmi

Lalgudi Rajalakshmi hails from the Lalgudi family of musicians. Her siblings include Padmavathy Ananthagopalan, Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, and Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandam.

Her early training was with her father Lalgudi Gopala Iyer, followed by further learning from her elder brother Lalgudi G. Jayaraman.

She began performing at the age of ten, gave solo performances, accompanied leading artists, served as a staff artist for All India Radio, and trained students in violin, veena, and vocal music.
