Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandam

Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandam was trained by her father Lalgudi Gopala Iyer and by her brother Lalgudi G. Jayaraman.

She is remembered as the reputed sister and violin duo partner of Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, with accounts describing decades of concerts in tandem and a style that matched the family bani with grace and classicism.

She has also performed violin duets with her daughter and disciple Anuradha Sridhar and is recognised as an important teacher in the Lalgudi lineage.
