Mysore Manjunath

Mysore Manjunath was born in Mysore and is the son and disciple of violinist Vidwan S. Mahadevappa. Public biographies describe him as a child prodigy who gave his first concert at the age of eight.

He performs as a soloist and as one half of the Mysore Brothers with Mysore Nagaraj. The duo is known for Carnatic violin concerts in India and abroad.

Manjunath has received honours including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, presented by the Government of India.
