Nagai Sriram

Nagai Sriram was born in Chennai on June 19, 1980 and was introduced to violin by his grandmother R. Komalavalli.

He received advanced training from his uncle Nagai Muralidharan and began performing professionally at the age of twelve, when he accompanied Neyveli Santhanagopalan in New Delhi.

Sriram was an A-grade artist of All India Radio, accompanied leading vocalists and instrumentalists, and received honours including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Yuva Puraskar.
